Essential Job Functions / Personal Skill Requirements:
- Prepare tax returns for clients, both business and personal, and handle any correspondence from taxing authorities
- Handle and resolve tax, accounting, and other questions from clients in a timely and courteous manner
- Develop strong client relations by way of meaningful monthly client contact and visiting each client’s premises at least once per year
- Interact directly with clients and other team members to develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies and various consulting topics
- Stay abreast of current tax law and communicate opportunities to team members
- Personable and professional with good written and verbal communication skills including a willingness to visit client’s place of business
- Possess the ability to motivate him/herself, set own agenda, manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload while delivering accurate work
